【摘要】:1-1.1Thisfiretestresponsestandarddescribesaprocedureformeasuringcriticalradiantfluxbehaviorofhorizontallymountedfloorcoveringsystemsexposedtoaflamingignitionsourceinagraded,radiantheatenergyenvironmentwithinatestchamber.Thespecimencanbemountedoverunderlaymentoroverasimulatedconcretestructuralfloor,bondedtoasimulatedstructuralfloor,orotherwisemountedinatypicalandrepresentativeway.1-1.2Thisfiretestresponsestandardmeasuresthecriticalradiantfluxatflameout.Itprovidesabasisforestimatingoneaspectoffireexposurebehaviorforfloorcoveringsystems.Theimposedradiantfluxsimulatesthethermalradiationlevelslikelytoimpingeonthefloorsofabuildingwhoseuppersurfacesareheatedbyflamesorhotgases,orboth,fromafullydevelopedfireinanadjacentroomorcompartment.Thestandardwasdevelopedtosimulateanimportantfireexposurecomponentinfiresthatdevelopincorridorsorexitwaysofbuildingsandisnotintendedforroutineuseinestimatingflamespreadbehavioroffloorcoveringinbuildingareasotherthancorridorsorexitways.AppendixFprovidesinformationontheproperapplicationandinterpretationoftheresultsofthistest.1-1.3Thisstandardshallbeusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditionsandshallnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,theresultsofthetestshallbepermittedtobeusedaselementsofafirehazardassessmentorafireriskassessmentthattakesintoaccountallfactorsthatarepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardorfireriskofaparticularenduse.
