【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60068specifieswhiskertestsforelectricorelectroniccomponentsrepresentingthefinishedstage,withtinortin-alloyfinish.However,thestandarddoesnotspecifytestsforwhiskersthatmaygrowasaresultofexternalmechanicalstress.Thistestmethodisemployedbyarelevantspecification(internationalcomponentorapplicationspecification)withtransferofthetestseveritiestobeappliedandwithdefinedacceptancecriteria.Wheretestsdescribedinthisstandardareconsideredforothercomponents,e.g.mechanicalpartsasusedinelectricalorelectronicequipment,itshouldbeensuredthatthematerialsystemandwhiskergrowthmechanismsarecomparable.
