【摘要】:Analysisofdeflectiondatafromasphaltpavementsalmostalwaysrequiresthattherawdeflectionsortheanalysisresultsfromtheload-deflectiondatabeadjustedfortheeffectsofpavementsurfacecoursetemperature.Measuringthetemperatureat-depthnormallyrequiresthataholebedrilledintothepavement,partiallyfilledwithfluid,andthetemperaturemeasuredwithahand-helddevice.Alternatively,thermistorsorothertemperatureinstrumentationmaybepermanentlyinstalledatvariouslocations.Currentdeflectiontestingequipmentisoftenequippedwithsurfacetemperaturesensingdevices,forexampleaninfraredthermometerthatmeasuresthesurfacetemperatureateverytestlocation.Toadequatelyadjustthedeflectionordeflectionresultsfortheeffectsoftemperature,thetemperatureatsomedepthmustbeknown.Thistestmethodprovidesameansofestimatingthetemperatureat-depthfromthepavementsurfacetemperature,thetimeofday,thepreviousdayx2019;shighandlowairtemperatures,andthedesireddepthwherethetemperatureistobeestimated.Utilizationofthismethodresultsinasignificantsavingsintimeovertheconventionalpracticeofmanuallydrillingholesintothepavement,anditresultsinasignificantincreaseinthevolumeoftemperaturedata(onepavementtemperatureforeachtestpoint)andtheabilitytorecordtemperaturevariationsbetweentestpoints.1.1Thistestmethodcoversameansofpredictingtemperatureswithintheasphalt-boundlayer(s)ofaflexiblepavementsection.1.2Deflectiontestingcommonlyinvolvesthemeasurementofpavementsurfacetemperatures.ThisstandardisbasedontemperaturerelationshipsdevelopedaspartoftheFederalHighwayAdministration(FHWA)LongTermPavementPerformance(LTPP)SeasonalMonitoringProgram.
