【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60079-29givesguidanceon,andrecommendedpracticefor,theselection,installation,safeuseandmaintenanceofelectricallyoperatedgroupIIapparatusintendedforuseinindustrialandcommercialsafetyapplicationsforthedetectionandmeasurementofflammablegasescomplyingwiththerequirementsofIEC60079-29-1.Thisstandardisapplicableforoxygenmeasurementforthepurposeofinertisationwhereexplosionprotectionisprovidedbytheexclusionofoxygeninsteadofmeasuringthecombustiblegasesorvapourspresent.Thisstandardisacompilationofpracticalknowledgetoassisttheuser,andappliestoapparatus,instrumentsandsystemsthatindicatethepresenceofaflammableorpotentiallyexplosivemixtureofgasorvapourwithairbyusinganelectricalsignalfromagassensortoproduceameterreading,toactivateavisualoraudiblepre-setalarmorotherdevice,oranycombinationofthese.Suchapparatusmaybeusedasameansofreducingtheriskwheneverthereisthepossibilityofarisktolifeorpropertyspecificallyduetotheaccumulationofacombustiblegas-airmixture,byprovidingsuchwarnings.Itmayalsobeusedtoinitiatespecificsafetyprecautions(e.g.plantshutdown,evacuation,fireextinguishingprocedures).Thisstandardisapplicabletoallnewpermanentinstallationsand,wherereasonablypracticable,toexistingpermanentinstallations.Itisalsoapplicabletotemporaryinstallations,whetherneworexisting.Similarlyitisapplicabletothesafeuseofportableortransportableapparatus,irrespectiveoftheageorcomplexityofsuchapparatus.Sincemuchmodernapparatusofthistypealsoincludesoxygendeficiencydetectionand/orspecifictoxicgassensors,someadditionalguidanceisgivenforthesetopics.NOTEWheninclassifiedareas,theapparatusshouldbesoinstalledandusedthatitisnotcapableofitselfignitingacombustiblegas-airmixture.ItshouldthereforecomplywiththerequirementsofIEC60079-10.Forthepurposesofthisstandard,exceptwherespecificallystatedotherwise,flammablegasesshallincludeflammablevapours.ThisstandardappliesonlytogroupIIapparatus(i.e.apparatusintendedforuseinindustrialandcommercialsafetyapplications,involvingareasclassifiedinaccordancewithIEC60079-10).Forthepurposesofthisstandard,apparatusincludesa)fixedapparatus;b)transportableapparatus;andc)portableapparatus.Thisstandardisnotintendedtocover,butmayprovideusefulinformation,forthefollowing:a)apparatusintendedonlyforthedetectionofnon-flammabletoxicgases;b)apparatusoflaboratoryorscientifictypeintendedonlyforanalysisormeasurementpurposes;c)apparatusintendedforundergroundminingapplications(groupIapparatus);d)apparatusintendedonlyforprocesscontrolapplications;e)apparatusintendedforapplicationsinexplosivesprocessingandmanufacture;f)apparatusintendedforthedetectionofapotentiallyflammableatmosphereresultingfromdustormistinair;g)openpathapparatusnotusedforpointmeasurement.
