【摘要】:Thistestmethodisnormallyusedtoevaluatethebarriereffectivenessagainstliquidsofmaterialsusedforprotectiveclothingandspecimensfromfinisheditemsofprotectiveclothing.Finisheditemsofprotectiveclothingincludegloves,armshields,aprons,suits,hoods,boots,andthelike.Thephrasex201C;specimensfromfinisheditemsx201D;encompassesseamedandotherdiscontinuousregionsaswellastheusualcontinuousregionsofprotectiveclothingitems.Asubstitutechallengeliquid(forexample,water)isappropriateinsomecases.However,itispossiblethatdifferencesinchemicalandmolecularproperties(forexample,surfacetension)leadtodifferentresults.1.1Thistestmethodisusedtotestspecimensofprotectiveclothingandcandidatematerialsandconstructionstobeusedinprotectiveclothing.Theresistancetovisiblepenetrationofthetestliquidisdeterminedwiththeliquidincontinuouscontactwiththenormallyoutsidesurfaceofthetestspecimen.1.2Insomecases,significantamountsofhazardousmaterialswillpermeatespecimensthatpassthepenetrationtests.FormoresensitiveanalysisuseTestMethodF739todeterminepermeation.1.3Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletofingertipsorcrotchareasofgloves,whicharepossiblefailurepoints.1.4Thevaluesasstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsaregiveninSection7.

【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsfordrawingstockofaluminiumandaluminiumalloysdeliveredintheformofcoilswithaunitmassrangingbetween1tand4tandobtainedbycommonindustrialprocesses.Italsospecifiesthetechnicalconditionsforinspectionanddeliveryoftheseproducts.Itappliestodrawingstockintendedforthefollowingmainfieldsofapplication:--wiresforgeneralelectricalpurposes;--wiresforgeneralmechanicaluses;--wiresforbrazingandweldingandmetalspraying;--foodpackaging.ThespecificrequirementstodrawingstockfortheseapplicationsarespecifiedinEN1715-2,EN1715-3andEN1715-4.Itdoesnotapplytowireswhicharedrawn,butonlytodrawingstockwhichisproducedbyhot-working.NOTEThreemainmethodsexistforthemanufactureofdrawingstock:a)continuouslycastrod(CCR):--asectioniscastcontinuouslyinthegrooveofawheel,thegroovebeingclosedbyanendlessstrip;--thesolidandstillhotsectionisrolledinamultistandrollingmilltotherequireddiameter;--thedrawingstockrodthusproducediswoundcontinuouslytoformcoilsupto4tinmass;b)hotrolledrod(HRR):--awirebarofdiameterapproximately100mmto150mmisheatedandrolledtotherequireddiameter;--thecoils,weighinguptoapproximately100kgarebuttweldedtogetherandwoundtoformcoilswithmassof1tto4t;c)hotextrudedrod(HER):--coilsupto100kgcanbeproducedinasinglefibrewithoutbuttwelds(dependingonthesizeoftheextrusionpress);--coilsover100kgarenormallyproducedbyblockonblockextrusion,generating"Zweiwachs"-joints.Formechanicalapplications(i.efasteners)the"Zweiwachs"areashouldbemarked.
